St John the Baptist School
In addition to specialist classes, students in Grade 3 and Grade 4 change classroom teachers for one subject. Students in Grade 5 and 6 change classroom teachers for all subjects.
The Junior High promotes independence in preparation for high school. Students change classrooms and have six subject teachers as well as specialists. All students in grades 7-8 participate in the following academic and specialist areas:

- Science with Lab
- Social Studies
- Religion
- Spanish
- Art
- Physical Education
- Technology/Computer
In addition to these areas, Junior High students choose electives that change each semester. Elective areas include:
